The Heart Behind
Whole Family Nutrition

Meet Kate Hutchinson,
RHN, CGP
A nutritionist that has walked in your shoes
After witnessing, within my own family, how changes in nutrition could powerfully affect even the most challenging neurological conditions, I decided to return to school to delve into this world full time, and graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2009 with distinguished merit. I founded Whole Family Nutrition that same year, with the goal of helping to support individuals and families with education, understanding, and practical guidance to optimize health outcomes through nutrition. I have now been in active practice with Whole Family Nutrition for over 15 years, and am still fascinated and awestruck by the potential of nutrition to facilitate positive transformation in my clients' lives.
Having a son on the autism spectrum with an additional OCD diagnosis, a brother with a schizophrenia diagnosis, and a husband with a traumatic brain injury has instilled in me a deep understanding of the wide array of challenges that you or your family member may be experiencing.
It’s not easy, I get it.
My philosophy in life and work
I approach each new client as a unique individual, with a “no-stone-unturned” philosophy when uncovering the details of their specific biochemistry at the root of their symptoms. My engagement in ongoing continuing education and keen interest in looking at the most recent research allows me to offer clients safe, up-to-date, and effective strategies.
I have always believed in working with nature, wherever possible, and when not working with clients, I can be found amongst my plants in the garden.
