Bach Flower Remedies
Gentle support for complex emotional states
Bach Flower Remedies offer gentle support for emotional and mental challenges such as stress, heartbreak, fear, overwhelm, and other mental and emotional challenges. They can help make difficult experiences feel more manageable, while supporting a greater sense of balance and resilience over time.

Over the years, working with a diverse range of clients, I began to see how emotional challenges can underlie and worsen physical and cognitive symptoms. To capably integrate this approach into my practice, I invested three years in the multiple levels of BACH practitioner training and am now part of the International Registry of Bach Flowers Registered Practitioners.

A system designed for emotional wellbeing
Bach Flower Remedies are a system of 38 plant-based essences developed by Dr. Edward Bach to support emotional well-being. While many people are familiar with Dr. Bach's Rescue Remedy, it is just one combination within this broader system.
These remedies can be helpful as immediate “first aid” during times of stress, but were originally developed as a longer-term approach to help shift deeper patterns of thought and behaviour that may contribute to dis-ease.
The individualized remedy bottle provides a private, easy, and healthy way to process emotions, change thought patterns, and build coping skills. They can be safely used alongside medications and supplements, are suitable for all ages, including babies and exhausted parents, and are easy to take in liquid form, with a light, subtle taste.

Origin
The creator of these remedies, Dr. Edward Bach (1886–1936), was a British doctor, pathologist, and bacteriologist who began to recognize the limitations of conventional approaches when mental and emotional factors stood in the way of healing. This led him to explore the potential of plant-based essences with his patients.

Through ongoing observation and patient feedback, Dr. Bach expanded and refined his remedies to better address each individual’s unique set of challenges. He ultimately developed a system of 38 essences designed to support a wide range of emotional states that may underlie illness. He also found that they could be used preventatively in situations where stress and anxiety may be inevitable.

Dr. Bach’s work continues internationally, nearly 100 years after his death. The remedies are still prepared in the same way as in his time, using plants sourced from the same location in England.
Bach Remedies Appointments
BACH appointments can be booked independently or as part of an ongoing nutrition support plan. We begin with a 45-minute intake appointment, either in person or via video call, followed by 30-minute follow-up appointments as needed. A personalized set of essences is provided at the end of each appointment.

In my experience, more substantial, deep-rooted concerns are best supported through a series of at least four monthly appointments, beginning with the intake and followed by three follow-ups. That said, essences can often have noticeable positive effects from the first day of use.
