The Biochemistry Behind The Practice
Understanding what’s beneath the surface
Neurological and mental health symptoms are not simply behavioural, nor are they fixed or unchangeable. They are often a reflection of underlying biochemical processes occurring throughout the body.

These processes are influenced by many factors, including nutrition, the gut microbiome, and lived experiences. While genes may play a role, they do not define the outcome.

Nutrition and biochemistry
A nutrition-based approach works gently with the body, using nutrients and lifestyle to support biochemical balance, and can be integrated alongside existing treatments. This approach addresses root contributors rather than masking symptoms, allowing for more meaningful and lasting outcomes.
While pharmaceutical medications also act on biochemical pathways, they are not generally focussed on the underlying cause. My work focuses on understanding each client’s unique biochemistry and identifying where support is needed to restore balance across systems.
